On behalf of E.ON Kraftwerke GmbH IFOK has been charged with the conceptual design and implementation of stakeholder management processes at a number of power plant sites where E.ON Kraftwerke plans new-builds to replace older facilities with the parallel expansion of capacities for power generation.
The concepts for stakeholder dialogues are designed to meet the specific communication requirements at each location. For that purpose informal interviews were conducted with diverse relevant stakeholders in the respective regions in order to get insights in the starting situation, the general sentiment, positions and interests as well as stakeholders’ arguments regarding the power plant projects.
The project “New Partnerships” is conducted in cooperation between the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and IFOK (Institute for Organisational Communication). It strives to develop effective strategies and solutions that increase the mutual benefit for society and business in developing and newly industrialising countries. Based on case studies and a range of practical experience the project will explore ways of how stakeholder groups and corporations can build mutually beneficial relationships. Corporations will be able to better secure their investments and mange sustainable growth. Stakeholders and societies will benefit from more effectively communicating their needs towards companies and from forming a long-term partnership for development.
